Trivia

• There is an error on the official site for the original Fossil Fighters game. Even though Proto is a Water-Element Vivosaur, it is given a Neutral-Element background.
• Though Proto is a quadruped in the Fossil Fighters series, it is thought that Protoceratops could have stood on two legs if it wanted. This trait is shown with Proto's Super Harden and Jagged Thunder skills.
• Proto is the only ceratopsian Vivosaur without horns.
